These holds are where tears drain from your eye to your nose. There is a plug called lacrimal plugs that is normally inserted by an eye doctor. The plugs are not painful or permanent and you will not feel it.

Eye care treatment is important because in cases of dry eye if not treated, it will be painful and lead to infections. It will pose several complications that will damage your cornea which is the front part of your eye. Loss of vision will happen. Further, dry eyes will decrease your quality of life and make it difficult to handle your everyday tasks.
